When a local Taco Bell franchisee wanted to hire a taco chef, she decided to apply.

    But in the process, she realized she would not be able to enter the United States.

    “I knew it was a tough decision,” said Shira Zebar, owner of Zebars Tofu restaurant in the Bronx.

    “But I felt it was necessary to apply for a job.

    I had already made the decision to go to Israel.

    It’s not the first time I’ve applied, but this time, I felt I needed to apply.”

    The Zebarts, a family of four who are all graduates of the city’s culinary school, decided to enter into the U, the country’s most exclusive labor program.

    According to a CNN Money article, the median salary for a full-time worker in Israel is about $1,600 per month.

    The Zibars applied to a variety of jobs, including those in retail, restaurants, and service-sector positions.

    They found positions at a few fast-food chains, but only one was willing to hire them.

    And while they made it to the final stage, they had to wait more than a year to be interviewed.

    In March, they finally received an interview with Zebara, the restaurant owner.

    “The interview was pretty intense, I got to know the people who work here, they’re like my family,” said Zebare.

    “It was an honor to be part of this process, and it made me realize that I was not alone.”

    After a short wait, the franchisee finally hired them as a Taco Bell employee.

    She said she appreciated the work they do.

    “We’ve been doing it for years, so it’s a little unusual,” she said.

    “Now that they know we’re doing it, they’ll pay us a little more.”

    The franchisee said that if a customer wanted to know more about the program, they could visit the Zebarian website.

    They also say they hope to help other Israeli chefs.

    “If you have any questions, we would be happy to help you,” said the franchise owner.
