A lot of Australians don’t think of themselves as citizens of a foreign country when they apply for a visa, even if they are born there.

    But if you do, there are plenty of options to choose from.

    Here’s what you need to know about Australia’s visa programs.

    Basic Basic, which is a one-time application.

    It requires you to provide a valid Australian passport and your full name and birthdate.

    You’ll need to bring a copy of your birth certificate.

    Basic applicants need not pay a fee to apply, but will be required to provide an updated copy of their birth certificate and a passport photo (if required).

    Basic applicants are exempt from having to prove their nationality to other Australians.

    Applicants must be aged 18 or over and be a full-time student in Australia.

    Personal Information Personal Information (PII) is information about a person, including personal details such as their social security number, address, phone number, email address, date of birth and a bank account number.

    It can be anything that can be linked to a specific person.
