SANTA ANA, Calif.

(AP) Workers searching for new work at a fast-food chain are hoping to help with their paychecks.

Workers in a truck stop at the intersection of Highway 101 and Highway 18 are searching for a new job.

The truck stop is part of a chain of businesses called the Belly of the Bay, which has been operating in Santa Ana for over 30 years.

A new employee can be hired within days.

It’s a precarious situation for the workers, who make less than $11 an hour.

The owners are trying to make ends meet through overtime.
